What is a Steam?
A Steam is a comment posted on SteamArena. A group of emoticons, called iBALLS shows up once the curser is clicked on the comment box. Other readers can comment below a posted Steam or click Plus or Minus in the SteamCloud to indicate approval or disapproval. Steamers and commenters will be alerted by email when others contribute to a Steam.
What is an iBALL?
An iBALL is one of a series of cute one-eyed emotion icon used on SteamArena.com and UshUsh.com, a website for kids.
What is Hot Steam?
Hot Steam is a list of the most popular Steams on SteamArena. The Steams with the most comments or the most clicks on the SteamCloud will show up under Hot Steam.
What is Trending?
Trending are the comments that are becoming popular.
What is Archive?
In the Archive, a user can look for old comments based on the approximate time they were posted; yesterday, a week ago, a month ago or a year ago. Also, ALL comments ever posted will show up in chronological order.
Why is my comment box pink?
The newest comments will show up in pink and stay that color for 24 hours. This helps users to quickly scroll for new content.
Why is my Steam outlined in RED?
All new steams are outline in RED for 24 hour so users can see new content quicker.
How do I create a LIVE DISCUSSION?
Simply click on the Live Discussions button and it will take you to a seperate page. First, select an iBALL to express yourself. Then create a topic for discussion. If you choose a Public discussion anyone can see it and it will be announced on the HOME page of SteamArena. You choose who you want to be able to participate or observe the discussion. If you choose a Private discussion, only people whom you have invited to participate or observe will see the discussion. Choose a date and time for discussion. Be sure your time zone is correct so you can communicate and arrange the discussion with anyone in the world. Enter the email of those whom you want to participate or observe the discussion.
How do I change my TIME ZONE settings?
Under Account Settings, there is a place to choose your time zone.
